Adore Women is inviting applications for Contributing Writers to create articles for our digital women’s magazine. This is a remote, commission-based freelance arrangement, with payment per article submitted and approved.
HOW THE ARRANGEMENT WORKS
Accepted contributors may be commissioned by the Editor in Chief to write an article, or pitch article ideas to the Editor in Chief. Work on a pitched article begins after the idea has been approved.
PAYMENT
Contributors are paid per article submitted and approved by the Editor in Chief. This is a freelance arrangement with no fixed monthly salary.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop story ideas, research reliable sources, write clear and original articles, meet agreed deadlines, and respond to editorial revisions. Topics include fashion and beauty, women and power, African pop culture, life and travel, love and relationships, and politics.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Writers with strong research and storytelling skills, an interest in women’s experiences and African perspectives, and the ability to respond to editorial feedback. Include a CV or brief writer profile, writing samples or portfolio links, your preferred subject areas, and a short article pitch.
